So does this mean I finally get to meet Oprah?  They are known per O magazine as "the oscars of specialty food" so I hear.  After 4 years of "the rise and grind"...we finally feel like "maybe it is worth it!"  We just received news that we are headed to NYC for the summer fancy food show because we have been nominated by the Specialty Food Association for not one, not two, but three prestigious sofi™ Awards.

So it's all the rage right now, Coconut and Chia seeds.  You all remember those infomercials right?  Can you believe that was the 80's.  Yes we are getting old.  Anyway, forget the chia pet and try this delicious coconut chia pudding.  It's packed with protein, calcium, fiber and omega fatty acids and it leaves you full for hours.

Sugared & Spiced Nuts

Okay, so I made these nuts to put on salad tomorrow but I don't know if they or I will make it till then.  They are soooo good and they do go nicely with my evening IPA.  Not only that, but Wozz is on his way home from a long weekend away and I am sure as soon as he smells the aroma in here, they (the nuts) won't stand a chance.
