Best Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry with Ginger Soy Sauce

This Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry turned out to be the best beef and broccoli I have ever had.  Hands Down!  Tender velvety Chinese style beef and crisp broccoli florets are tossed with our Ginger Soy Infusion Sauce that we thickened with a bit of cornstarch for a full bodied sweet and savory ginger soy gravy sauce.

Using our Ginger Soy Infusion Sauce is a huge time saver when making this
stir-fry and it's layered with authentic flavor.  Because it's made with fresh chopped garlic, ginger, sesame, organic tamari, rice wine vinegar and saki, you don't need to go diving into the pantry or fridge for all those ingredients to chop up or mix up, which means more time for Netflix and wine. Weeknight dinner result.

Know the trick to soft velvety Chinese style beef?  To get that soft melt in your mouth beef texture at Chinese restaurants you simply sprinkle a little baking soda on your beef and let sit for 20 minutes.  Then rinse.

Best Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry - Serves 2

Ingredients:

Tenderizing Agent:

1 Tbs Baking Soda

Marinade:

12 ounces flank steak thinly sliced
1 Tbs Soy Sauce
1 Tbs Corn Starch
2 Tbs Water

Sauce:

1/2 Cup Wozz! Ginger Soy Infusion Sauce
1/2 Cup Water

Stir Fry:

1/2 Tbs Sesame Oil
2 Tbs Vegetable Oil
1/2 Broccoli, cut into florets
4 Green Onions with Stems sliced thinly on an angle (save a little for garnish at the end)

Rice:

Jasmine Rice - cook rice according to package directions

Method:

Thinly slice beef and add to bowl.  Sprinkle with baking soda and let sit for 20 minutes.  Rinse well with water and pat dry.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together marinade ingredients and add sliced beef.  Set aside to marinate.

Cut up your broccoli into florets and slice green onions. Set aside.

In another bowl combine ginger soy infusion and water and set aside

Heat up skillet on medium high heat and add your vegetable oil and sesame oil. When oil is nice and hot, add your marinated meat and stir fry until nice and browned on each side.

Add broccoli florets.  Stir fry for a minute or so.

Stir in ginger soy infusion and water sauce mixture and simmer for approximately 2 minutes. Add sliced green onions.  Cook for an additional minute until sauce is nicely thickened.

*if you want your sauce even thicker - combine 1 tbs cornstarch with 2 Tbs water and add to stir fry, simmer for another minute.

Garnish with additional sliced green onions and serve over rice.
