Goats Cheese Pairing with Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Compote
Goats Cheese Pairing with Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Compote
A simple yet sophisticated cheese pairing. Aged Goats Cheese (I used Vermont Creamery's Coupole) with our Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Compote. Our Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Compote is a combination of Wild Maine Blueberries steeped in balsamic with fresh floral rosemary, pure NH maple syrup and toasted walnuts. It pairs brilliantly with goats cheese and blue cheese and is gorgeous when plated. You can also serve this alongside patè or prosciutto on a charcuterie board and serve it with mini toasts, crackers or crostini.
Ingredients:
Goats Cheese (I used Vermont Creamery Coupole but you can use whichever goats cheese you prefer, it doesn't have to be an aged goats cheese)
Wozz! Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Compote with rosemary and balsamic
Method:
Serve the Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Compote as a side to the cheese. Allow your guests to spoon the preserves over their cheese as they like.
