These holiday cranberry meatballs are a tasty and elegant appetizer for the Christmas season! Meatballs are baked and pan glazed with our Cranberry Orange Cognac Chutney. A fast and easy appetizer to make for a holiday party or event and who doesn't like glazed meatballs??
Holiday Cranberry Meatballs
Ingredients for Meatballs:
1/2 Pound Ground Hamburg
1/2 Pound Ground Pork
1 Egg
1/4 tsp Cayenne
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Allspice
1/3 cup Bread Crumbs
1/2 tsp Salt
Ingredients for Cranberry Glaze:
1 Jar Wozz! Cranberry Orange Cognac Chutney
1 Cup Orange Juice
3 Tbs Brown Sugar
1/2 cup fresh cranberries
Method:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
In a large mixing bowl combine hamburg, pork, egg, breadcrumbs, cayenne, allspice, garlic powder and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Form meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
In a large saucepan, on medium heat, add 1 cup of orange juice, 1 jar of Wozz! Cranberry Orange Cognac Chutney, brown sugar and fresh cranberries. Cook and stir until sauce combines and thickens up, approximately 3-5 minutes. Toss in your meatballs and coat well.
Serve warm piled up in a bowl.
