Orange, Sesame and Sweet Chili Salmon
Salmon...some days I love it...I am in the mood for it and other days I just don't feel like salmon. It's weird, I love a good flaky white fish like haddock but I definitely need to be in a salmon state of mind to make it for dinner. But I will tell you, that this sweet orange chili and sesame salmon is pretty delicious! I think it's honestly the best salmon dish I have had in a long time...well maybe since our Ginger Soy Glazed Salmon (that was pretty terrific as well)...must be our sauces..;)
Honestly, it's a five star salmon dinner and you can make it in about 20 minutes which is perfect! More time for that glass of chardonnay and your feet kicked up on the deck! and it's salmon so you get your omega 3's and all those health benefits!
The only thing I added to this other than our sweet orange chili sesame dressing was chopped spring onions, sesame seeds and a nice squeeze of fresh lime.
Ingredients:
Serves 2
Salmon Fillet (mine was 3/4 lb)
Wozz! Sweet Orange Chili and Sesame Dressing / Marinade
Spring Onions
Sesame Seeds (I used black and toasted white sesame seeds)
Fresh Lime Wedges
Recipe:
First marinade your salmon in approximately 1/3 cup of Wozz! Sweet Orange Chili Sesame Dressing for 15 minutes.
Turn your broiler on low broil (approximately 450 degrees)
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Take salmon out of marinade and place on foil lined baking sheet.
Broil for about 6-7 minutes until cooked to your liking (you may need to adjust time based on thickness of your salmon). After 4-5 minutes of cooking, baste salmon with a little bit more of Wozz! Sweet Orange Chili Sesame Dressing.
Remove from oven, drizzle just a little bit more dressing over top if desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onions and serve with a squeeze of lime and lime wedges.
