Poached Eggs on Avocado Toast with Hot Chili Sambal
Good Morning! I think this breakfast takes the cake in the most satisfying breakfast category. Poached eggs on smashed avocado toast topped with our Super Hot Chili Sambal Sauce. It's packed with protein, healthy fats and I used organic Ezekiel sprouted bread which is full of nutrients. If you are trying to stay away from carbs you can skip the bread and eat this on a bed of arugula or spinach. Our Super Hot Chili Sambal has only 2.5 g of sugar per tablespoon (half the sugar of ketchup) and a tablespoon is plenty. If you are a bit weary of hot sauce that is too hot, this sambal is about a 8/10, so it's hot but it won't burn your face off. It's full of flavor - made with fresh garlic, ginger and lemon and is a nice addition to the poached eggs.

A Quick Lesson on How to Poach Eggs:
So the fresher the eggs, the better. Bring a medium pot of water to a high simmer on the stove (you don't want the water to come to a full boil). Add salt and vinegar. Crack your cold egg into a ramican or small bowl. Stir your water so it swirls in the pot (make a little whirl pool) and then gently tip the egg in white part first. I continue to gently swirl the water, without disturbing the egg for a few seconds until it starts to float to the top. Cook then undisturbed for approximately 3 minutes, then remove with slotted spoon. If you have some egg white pieces on the edges, you can cut them off to make the egg have a nice round shape.
Spread your avocado mash onto your toast. Top with poached eggs, a teaspoon of Wozz! Super Hot Chili Sambal sauce on top of each egg and sprinkle on some salt and pepper. Finish with some fresh chopped chives or green onion over top if desired.
Enjoy.
