Smoked Tilsit, Bacon, Triple Ale Onion and Maple Pizza
Yum! I'm making this.
I was thinking about how to introduce this pizza but why? doesn't the name say it all? Bacon, Smoked Tilsit Cheese, Green Apple, our Triple Ale Onion Spread, Pure Maple Syrup and a sprinkle of fresh Thyme. I don't have to explain how good this is....
Pizza Dough (I bought premade dough from Portland Pie Company (beer flavor) and just rolled it out)
1 Green Apple Sliced
Vermont Farmstead Company BrikHaus Smoked Tilsit Cheese
Wozz! Triple Ale Onion Savory Spread
Pure Maple Syrup - We used Fullars Sugarhouse of Lancaster NH
Fresh Thyme Sprig
Preheat oven to 475 degrees
I first cooked bacon for a few minutes in skillet just to crisp up just a bit (don't overcook it or you will burn it in oven while you cook your pizza). Drain on paper towel.
Roll out your dough. Spread on some Wozz! Triple Ale Onion Spread as your pizza base. Top with sliced green apple, Smoked BrikHaus Tilsit Cheese and Bacon.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted. Finish with fresh thyme and a drizzle of pure maple syrup.
