Quiche in it's flaky buttery crust is a delicious and easy weeknight meal.  Serve alongside a simple mixed green salad.

Ingredients:

6 eggs

5-6 Slices of Black Forest Ham

1 bag of chopped frozen spinach, thawed in strainer

1 cup half and half

1 cup shredded 4 cheese

kosher salt & cracked pepper

Frozen flaky pie crust

Method:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Slightly thaw pie crust and prick with a fork.  Place in oven for 5 minutes to warm.

Whisk the eggs with the cream and salt and pepper until well combined and smooth.  Stir in the cheese.

Add spinach until well combined

Pour mixture into pie crust

Top with whole slices of black forest ham, arrange so evenly distributed and 1/2 submerged in pie mixture (see photo or decorate with ham slices as you please)

Cook for 35-45 minutes until egg is cooked through and browned on top.
