Wozz! Favorite Spreads and Jams For Brie Cheese Trio Includes:
Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Fruit Compote (with balsamic and rosemary):
Our Wild Blueberry Maple Walnut Jam Compote is layered with flavor. We infuse wild Maine Blueberries with pure Maple syrup, toasted walnuts, fresh rosemary and balsamic vinegar. The balsamic gives a nice savory tangy element to the fruit and it's just spectacular over a warm baked brie. We add a little more walnuts and fresh rosemary to the compote after we spoon it over the brie and it really is so so good. Hands down one of our favorite fruit spreads for brie.
Triple Ale Onion Savory Spread:
Our multi-award winning Triple Ale Onion Spread is a caramelized onion jam made with roasted garlic and 3 craft brews. Mix our Triple Ale Onion Spread with crispy bacon and a bit of fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme) and you've got yourself a delicious savory accompaniment to brie. Perfect when served with baked brie en croute (brie wrapped in puff pastry and baked). One of our best brie recipes for fall and winter entertaining.
Sour Cherry Spiced Wine Fruit Compote:
Now this brie pairing is a show stopper and just perfect for the holiday appetizer table. The beautiful burgundy sour cherries (which we simmer with red wine and aromatic winter spices) with toasted pecans and fresh thyme make a stunning topping to the wheel of brie. If I am hosting a holiday party or gathering, this sour cherry compote over brie is my go-to served with warm French baguette slices.
