Japanase Sesame Miso Grilled Salmon
Such an easy quick way to cook salmon, simply grill both sides, drizzle with Japanese Sesame miso with some chopped spring onion and serve. If you prefer not to grill the salmon fillets, you can simply pan sear them on each side for a couple minutes, glaze with Japanese Sesame Miso and place under broiler for a couple minutes until cooked through and nicely glazed.
Ingredients:
Salmon Fillet with skin
Wozz! Japanese Sesame Miso Dressing
Salt and Pepper
Spring Onion
Avocado Oil
Method:
Pat the salmon fillet dry, salt and pepper, brush both sides of fish with avocado oil (brush well with oil to prevent the fillets from sticking and breaking)
In a hot grill pan or on the "barbie" sear salmon (skinless side onto grill pan first) for 2-3 minutes. With a metal spatula, carefully flip salmon onto skin side and sear an additional 2 minutes.
Serve with Wozz! Japanese Sesame Miso Dressing over top with chopped spring onions.
* You can also marinate the fillets in the Japanese Sesame Miso Dressing for 20 minutes prior to grilling just make sure to still brush fillets with oil prior to grilling.
* If you are not grilling, you can pan sear your salmon on each side for a couple minutes in a hot skillet on the stove top, then drizzle salmon with Wozz! Japanese Sesame Miso Dressing and put under broiler for a couple minutes until nice and glazed.
