Moroccan Tomato Lamb Pizza

Yum! I'm making this.

Moroccan Tomato Lamb Pizza

Fresh pizza dough is topped with our Moroccan Tomato Onion Relish, sliced grilled lamb, mozzarella cheese and finished with a yogurt feta sauce, fresh mint and arugula.

Our Moroccan Tomato Onion Relish adds such a depth of flavor to this pizza, it's made with tomatoes and onions simmered in a medley of Moroccan spices, so you get all those Moroccan flavors in this pizza straight from the relish.

We used leftover grilled lamb chops for the sliced lamb that we had made the day before, but you can also use ground lamb, just brown it off with a little salt and pepper before you add to the dough.   What I love about pizza in summer is that you can cook it on the grill or in your outdoor pizza oven, you can use leftover grilled meats as a topping to your pizzas and you can top all your pizzas with fresh greens and herbs from the backyard garden which just really freshens them up for summer.

1 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tbs Plain Yogurt
1.5 oz crumbled feta
Fresh mint leaves and arugula
Salt, Pepper and Chili Flakes to garnish

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Rub a little olive oil onto baking sheet.

Flour your cutting board, roll out your fresh pizza dough into 12 inch round.

Bake on bottom oven rack for 5 minutes, then transfer to middle oven rack and bake for another 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and top with yogurt feta sauce, mint and arugula and sprinkle of salt, pepper and chili flakes.
