Indian Spiced Pickled Beet Spread and Blue Cheese Pairing
One of our favorite more savory Wozz! cheese pairings and this one dates way back to 2014....we still had our old original labels on our products! Time flies but this pairing of beet and blue cheese is a timeless classic. Our Indian Spiced Pickled Beet Relish is delightful paired with a tangy sharp French Roquefort Blue Cheese or a creamy Italian Gorgonzola. Serve with crackers or toasted crostini or use this pairing in a variety of dishes from a flatbread pizza with prosciutto and arugula to lamb burgers topped with our Indian Spiced Pickled Beet Relish and Gorgonzola cream sauce or just throw some blue cheese crumbles in an arugula salad with a bit of our beet relish and top with a citrus vinaigrette (add crispy bacon for a flavor b-o-m-b). This pairing is pretty versatile - oh and another one...pickled beet relish and Cambozola grilled cheese with arugula. (Cambozola is a blue brie blend mild creamy cheese and is delicious!)
