Balsamic Fig Chicken Recipe
This balsamic fig chicken recipe calls for 4 ingredients. Chicken thighs, cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar and our Balsamic Fig Mostarda. No fuss and it's absolutely delicious. We always tend to use chicken thighs in our recipes because the chicken turns out much more flavorful and tender than when using chicken breasts....but you can use chicken breasts all the same. Our Balsamic Fig Mostarda Jam Spread is a combination of figs simmered in a balsamic reduction with mustard spice and it pairs so well with the chicken! Rather than just a plain fig jam, our balsamic fig mostarda spread adds layers of flavor to this recipe and it was awarded the NYC Fancy Food Show for best condiment in its class. For an easy weeknight "winner winner chicken dinner", this one takes the cake.

Balsamic Fig Chicken Recipe Additional Tweaks and Tips:
Along with your blistered cherry tomatoes that top the fig chicken, add fresh torn basil and burrata cheese or goats cheese, as soon as it comes out of the oven.
Instead of blistered tomatoes on your balsamic fig chicken which is a fantastic recipe for summer - you can substitute the tomatoes with toasted walnuts, goats cheese and fresh thyme with a drizzle of honey - that would make a nice winters night balsamic fig chicken recipe.
There are a number of sides that you can obviously serve with fig chicken including a simple green salad, honey roasted carrots with thyme, mashed potatoes, buttered green beans or sautéed Brussells sprouts (which actually are delicious with our fig spread tossed through on their own!)
What to do with your balsamic fig chicken leftovers?
