Lemon Green Tahini Tzatziki
Tzatziki is a traditional Greek condiment made of Greek yogurt, cucumbers, dill, mint, lemon and garlic. It's simple to make and makes a wonderful light appetizer when paired with toasted pita bread, vegetables, olives, hummus and falafel. It can be used as a sandwich sauce for wraps and gyros, it pairs particularly well with shaved lamb gyros, hummus wraps, grilled chicken skewers and Mezze plates. This recipe for Lemon Green Tahini Tzatziki puts a little spin on the traditional by adding a couple spoonfuls of our Lemon Green Tahini Dressing to the tzatziki. It actually makes the recipe even easier to make. Just add Wozz! Lemon Green Tahini Dressing which already is made with fresh lemon, dill, garlic and olive oil to the Greek yogurt with fresh chopped cucumber and mint. Voila! A delicious appetizer dip, sauce and spread.
Lemon Green Tahini Tzatziki Ingredients:
1/8 Cup Wozz! Lemon Green Tahini Dressing
1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
1 Mini Cucumber or about a 2 inch piece of a regular English cucumber grated (2.5 ounces) - let sit in dish for 10 minutes and then place in paper towel and squeeze extra moisture out
1 Tbs Chopped Fresh Mint
1 tsp ground cumin
Salt & Cracked Pepper
Olive Oil (for garnish)
Lemon Green Tahini Tzatziki Method:
In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Plate up, garnish with fresh chopped mint, sliced cucumber and a drizzle of olive oil. Serve with toasted or grilled pita bread.
