Chermoula Grilled Chicken Pitas
Lemony Moroccan chermoula marinated chicken is grilled and served on pita bread with a chermoula mayo, salad greens and a chermoula cilantro salsa. An easy healthy grilling option that is fresh vibrant and full of flavor.
Chermoula Grilled Chicken Ingredients
1 lb Skinless Chicken Breast - butterflied (this should be enough chicken for approximately 3-4 pitas)
2 Tbs Wozz! North African Chermoula Marinade and Sauce
Pinch Salt
Chermoula Salsa Ingredients
3 Tbs Fresh Cilantro Leaves Chopped
1 Tbs Red Onion Finely Diced
2 Tbs Wozz! North African Chermoula Marinade and Sauce
1 Tbs Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper (season to taste)
Chermoula Mayo Ingredients
2 Tbs Mayo
1 Tbs Chermoula Salsa (or just straight from the bottle)
Additional Ingredients
Pita Bread
Lettuce
Fresh Cilantro
Microgreens (optional)

Marinate Your Chicken
Marinate your butterflied chicken in chermoula sauce for 1-4 hours.
Make Your Chermoula Salsa
Combine chermoula salsa ingredients in small bowl and set aside.
Make Your Chermoula Mayo
Mix together ingredients in small bowl and set aside.
Get Your Grill Ready
Oil your grill and turn grill on high heat.
Grill Your Chermoula Chicken
Grill chicken on high heat, 4 minutes on 1 side, flip and and grill an additional 3 minutes on the other or until grill marks appear and chicken is cooked through.
*grilling time will vary based on thickness of chicken and individual grills
Grill Your Pita Bread
Brush pita with olive oil and grill on 1 side only for approximately 1 minute or so until golden brown and grill marks appear (we only grill 1 side of the pita to keep the pita from getting too crunchy - the other side will be warm and soft)
Arrange Your Pitas and Serve
Add chermoula mayo to bottom of grilled pita. Top with lettuce, grilled chicken, chermoula salsa, microgreens, fresh cilantro, a sprinkle of salt and pepper and serve.
You can also serve this as a salad with grilled bread on the side if preferred.
