Moroccan Tomato Lamb Pizza
Fresh pizza dough is topped with our Moroccan Tomato Onion Sauce, sliced grilled lamb, mozzarella cheese and finished with a yogurt feta sauce, fresh mint and arugula.
Our Moroccan Tomato Onion Relish and Simmer Sauce adds such a depth of flavor to this pizza, it's made with tomatoes and onions simmered in a medley of Moroccan spices, so you get all those Moroccan flavors in this pizza straight from the relish.
We used leftover grilled lamb chops for the sliced lamb that we had made the day before, but you can also use ground lamb, just brown it off with a little salt and pepper before you add to the dough. What I love about pizza in summer is that you can cook it on the grill or in your outdoor pizza oven, you can use leftover grilled meats as a topping to your pizzas and you can top all your pizzas with fresh greens and herbs from the backyard garden which just really freshens them up for summer.
