Vietnamese Green Tea and Mint Grilled Chicken
Sometimes simple is best. Chicken breasts are marinated in our Vietnamese Green Tea and Mint Dressing with a pinch salt and pepper. The chicken breasts are grilled and served with snap peas, red onion, fresh cilantro or mint, chili flakes and lime wedges. The clash of spicy chili, sweetened lime and fresh mint makes these char grilled breasts simply delicious.
Vietnamese Green Tea and Mint Grilled Chicken
Ingredients:
4 Chicken Breasts
1/2 bottle Wozz! Vietnamese Green Tea and Mint Dressing
Chili Flakes (for garnish)
Salt
Pepper
Snap Peas (blanched in boiling water for 30 seconds, remove and place in ice bath)
Red Onion Sliced
Fresh Cilantro or Mint
Lime Wedges
Oil (light olive oil or avocado oil)
Vietnamese Green Tea and Mint Grilled Chicken Recipe:
Mix together 1/3 bottle of Wozz! Vietnamese Green Tea Mint Dipping Sauce, pinch of salt and pepper. Marinade chicken breasts for 4 hours or overnight.
Preheat oven 425 degrees F
Brush grill pan with oil. Grill chicken breasts on medium high heat for 2 minutes on each side. Drizzle a bit more Vietnamese Green Tea Mint Dipping Sauce on grilled breasts, transfer to oven and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes. (until cooked through - depending on on how thick or thin your chicken breasts are will determine cooking time - ours were medium thick)
Remove from oven. Arrange on serving platter or cutting board, rustic style with blanched peas, sliced red onion, cilantro or mint and lime wedges. Drizzle with squeeze of lime, extra drizzle of Vietnamese Green Tea Mint Sauce (if desired), pinch of chili flakes, salt and pepper.
