Asian Mango Slaw with Vietnamese Lime Dressing Recipe
Fresh mango tossed with shredded cabbage, fresh mango, cilantro and green onion, dressed with our Vietnamese Mint, Lime and Chili Dressing and a squeeze of fresh lime. A delicious summer Asian coleslaw to serve alongside BBQ chicken, salmon or steak. Spoon onto pulled pork tacos, veggie burgers and wraps or simply eat as a main entrée.
Asian Mango Slaw with Vietnamese Lime Dressing Recipe
Ingredients:
13 oz cabbage cole slaw mix (1 bag)
1 Fresh Mango peeled and sliced into matchsticks
Few Sprigs of Fresh Cilantro Leaves (chopped)
2 Spring Onions (sliced)
1/3 cup Wozz! Vietnamese Mint Lime and Chili Dressing
1/2 Fresh Lime Squeezed
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sesame Seeds to Garnish
Method:
In a large mixing bowl, combine cabbage coleslaw mix, mango, cilantro and green onions. Toss with Wozz! Vietnamese Mint Lime and Chili Dressing (add extra if desired - until salad is nicely dressed). Add juice of 1/2 fresh squeezed lime. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
Asian Mango Slaw Recipe Additional Tweaks and Tips:
If you are eating this coleslaw as a meal, you can always go ahead and add a protein such as grilled chicken, caramelized pork, shrimp or steak tips. Another good addition to this salad would be slivered almonds or crispy wonton strips.
What to do with the Leftovers?
Your Asian coleslaw leftovers can be used in so many ways! Add to fish tacos or serve on pulled pork rolls, Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches or Asian inspired turkey burgers. Top grilled chicken thighs with the leftover slaw or add to Asian lettuce wraps with crispy pork strips and crushed peanuts.
